Ronald C. Fox,
Ph.D., is an author, researcher, psychotherapist, and
educator, currently living in Amsterdam (formerly in San
Francisco). He was the guest editor of recent special issues
of the Journal of Bisexuality on bi research and on
bi-affirmative psychotherapy, as well as being a co-editor of
an upcoming special issue on international bi issues. He
conducted the first large-scale study of bisexual identity
development and has also contributed several chapters on
bisexuality and bisexual issues to LGBT psychology books. Ron
has presented workshops and papers on bi issues at
professional conferences, grad schools, and community
agencies, as well as at U.S. and international bi conferences.
He was a member of the Task Force that wrote the American
Psychological Association Guidelines for Psychotherapy with
LGB Clients. He is Co-Chair of the Committee on Bisexual
Issues in Psychology of APA Division 44 (Society for the
Psychological Study of LGB Issues).
